The 2008 National Football League took place in NYC on Saturday. Many of men dreams were realize when they were selected by a team to join the professionals on the gridiron.
OT Jake Long with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. Long was taken as the first overall draft pick by the Miami Dolphins .
Second overall pick DE Chris Long was selected by the St. Louis Rams. He’s the son of former NFL baller Howie Long, FOX analyst.
RB Darren McFadden was selected fourth by the Oakland Raiders. Being selected fourth means a nice payday for the rookie. Now he’ll be able to support all of his children.
DT Glenn Dorsey is going to the Kansas City Chiefs, after being selected 5th overall on Sat. I love a man that’s not afraid to show his emotions. After his name was called, he wept. awwww
