Scott Linehan is out as the head coach in St. Louis. Prior to yesterday’s game he stated that if the Rams were to lose, he expected to be fired. Well I guess they met his expectations. Defensive coordinator Jim Haslett will act as their interim head coach.
Brett Favre had a field day against the defense of the Arizona Cardinals. Believe it or not, this was the first time in Favre’s career that he’s thrown for 6 TDs in a game.
Ut-oh..the Washington Redskins beat the Dallas Cowboys. Nobody believed they could pull this one out but that organization and their fans! With their win and Philadelphia’s lost, the NFC East is a battle once again.
The Kansas City Chiefs finally got ‘er done. Upsetting the Denver Broncos, Larry Johnson had his best performance thus far, running for 197 yards.

The
Buffalo Bills and
Tennessee Titans both remained unbeated to go to 4-0. This is the first time in 16 years for the Bills organization and the first time ever for the Titans.

It’s Friday and y’all know what’s up. Kerry Rhodes is the next baller up for review so let me know if you’d sack him or trade him. Me personally, it’s a done deal…I’d sack him, yummy yum!
Enjoy….

Kerry Rhodes born August 2, 1982 in Bessemer, Alabama plays safety for the New York Jets.

Height: 6 ft 3 in.
Weight: 220 lb.
Rhodes began playing football at nine years old. Kerry was a starting quarterback and honor student at Jess Lanier High School in Bessemer.
In 2000, he went to the University of Louisvill as a quarterback for the Cardinals, but was moved to safety and became one of the team’s best defensive players. Kerry finished out his first season at Louisville with 10 tackles, two pass breakups and an interception.
In 2006, Kerry established The Rhodes Foundation to address the Reaffirming Hopes Of Dream Endearing Scholars living in America’s impoverished neighborhoods. The foundation’s mission supports the educational and financial advancement of young people in underserved high schools nationwide.
Off the field, Kerry will appear in the films Queen of Media with Robin Givens and Misunderstandings. He graced the cover of Essence in August 2007 for his community and foundation work noted as a 2007 “Do Right Man.”
And his single, so…
SACK HIM OR TRADE?

Rapper Lil Wayne is guest blogging over at ESPN The Magazine and his first entry is about the NFL. I doubt if he actually typed it, but there his thoughts and yanno if football is mention, I’m all for it. Excerpts from the article below.
Hello, everybody.
This is the first entry in the blog I’m doing for ESPN The Magazine. I don’t watch nothing but sports—no movies, no news, no television shows—so I thought this would be fun.
Because I watch so much sports, I like to think I know what’s gonna happen. But with the NFL this year, some things have shocked me, some things have been just terrible. Like the Bengals. Damn. I kind of had a feeling things were gonna be bad, but I didn’t want them to be this bad. And oh my God the Chargers.
I grew up playing football. Believe it or not, I was a fullback. When I was nine, ten, eleven, I was a great blocker. I knew how to block real good and the other kids didn’t. So there I was. One game when I was ten years old we were on the goal line about to score, and coach called the play for me. I was supposed to go one way, but I ended up sneaking around the other side on a sweep. Everybody thought I was already tackled. The ref was already blowin’ his whistle. But I was still up and I stutter stepped one way and beat the last guy trying to get me and scored that touchdown. That’s my favorite sports memory for myself.
