Green Bay Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy and wife Jessica added a new member to their family early Wednesday morning, when the couple welcomed a baby girl into the world. Mother and daughter Gabrielle Kathleen are healthy and resting comfortably at a Green Bay hospital.
This is the second child for Mike, who has a daughter Alexandra, 17, from a previous relationship. The 44-year-old shared on Monday that, “it’s been 17 years since I have been through this, but I don’t remember doing a whole lot!” He noted, “I’ll carry the bag and make sure there is gas in the car, things like that. I can handle that.”

NY Giants LB Antonio Pierce celebrated his birthday at STK on last night in New York City. With quite a few teammates in the house, his birthday wasn’t the only thing to celebrate. The Giants are off to a great start this season and the defense is still playing like their losing their minds…
Next on the menu – NFC East rivals Washington Redskins. MNF @ Fed Ex field. Goody, goody, mmmmm

The Ubisoft Far Cry 2 Event pitted NFL ballers from the Dallas Cowboys and NY Giants against one another. The Far Cry 2 by Ubisoft is the anticipated sequel to the award-winning original game that brings players into the beautiful and hostile world of Africa. It’s an open-ended gameplay that allows you to play the game whichever way you choose, with the choices you make affecting where the game leads you.
I’m not a gamer so this is all new to me but its looks fun. Or maybe just being around ball players is fun too me.

They haven’t won a game all season but Detroit Lions’ wide receiver Mike Furrey hosted a roster of sports and local celebrities for the Mike Furrey Foundation Celebrity Halloween Bowling Party with a dinner, auction and awards ceremony at Plaza Lanes in Plymouth. The money raised from this year’s event benefits a variety of events planned in the Detroit community.
The Mike Furrey Foundation will be adopting Caesar Chavez Academy (Detroit), Christ Child House (Detroit), Children’s Hospital and many more.

WR Roy Williams of the Dallas Cowboys came back to support his former teammate with his fundraising event. Roy literally took the prize for most clever outfit. “Williams came dressed as former Lions running back Tatum Bell, who made national headlines two months ago when he was accused of pilfering the travel bags of Detroit running back Rudi Johnson. Williams was wearing a bellhop uniform with a big name tag that said “T. Bell.” Williams was also wearing boxer shorts on the outside of his pants and it said “Rudi” on the front and “Johnson 32” on the back.” LOL ROFL…Roy said Tatum gave him permission. RIGHT!
