OT Wayne Grady of the Atlanta Falcons- he’s always there!
Colts QB Peyton Manning is down in Charlotte for the Pro-Am Quail Hollow Championship and look who’s behind him? That’s Tiger Woods. I betbeing paired with Tiger had the collected QB nervous as hell.
“It’s everything you’d think it would be,” Manning said. “It’s really special. Watching him hit the ball, listening to him hit the ball, he tells great golf stories.

According to ESPN Mike Vick will be heading to Hampton, VA to live under confinement on May 20th where he will be serving out the rest of his sentence. He will be living in his 5-bedroom home that he owns (glad to know he didn’t lose that) with his fiancé and 2 children. He will also work 40 hours a week at a local construction company, making $10 an hour.
Vick was suspended indefinitely by the NFL in August 2007, when he pleaded guilty to a federal charge related to funding a dogfighting operation, and also admitted to helping kill dogs that underperformed. Mike will be on probation for the next 3 years and then maybe it’s back to football! But, according to commissioner Roger Goodell who told USA Today: “I am not going to make a judgment until I know all the facts on Michael Vick.” Man, I thought he had all the facts already!
Personally I think that Mike V has paid his price and its time to see him throwing balls than bricks! BTW…. when did Mike get a fiancé? Oh well….. it’s nice to see that she stood by his side.
Submitted by Tierra, my guest blogger, yeah!! She’s currently a student at the Univ. of KY and her favorite sport is football (of course), but she likes them college boys as well. Her she-ro is Pam Oliver, her favorite player is Donovan McNabb and she dotes on the NFL Network just like I do. We’re a match made on the football field!

According to The New York Post’s Page Six, New York Giants legend Lawrence Taylor may have his life story turned into a movie. The HOF LB and recovered cocaine addict was spotted with Tiki Barber and their agent, Mark Lepselter, at the Sunset Marquis with executives from State Street Pictures,” the column reported Tuesday.
“The movie moguls are interested in turning LT’s life story into a film, the way they turned Biggie Smalls’ story into ‘Notorious’ earlier this year,” the column reported Tuesday.
Taylor’s career as a linebacker for the NFL’s New York Giants was marred by his extensive alcohol and drug abuse. Drug-free since 1998, Taylor was voted into the NFL Hall of Fame and has since appeared on television shows and appeared on the cover of a Sports Illustrated.
Umhm, I’m all about folks getting their ‘quan’ so go head LT. But I don’t know if a movie is necessary, but that’s just me. Maybe an ESPN film or a made for television movie on Lifetime?

This is my “momma I made it moment.” Here I stand 2 years into blogging about the NFL and its ‘celebrity’ and my haven’t I grown! I’ve moved from blogger to my own URL and isn’t she pretty? I’ve made lots of friends and a few enemies (j/k) nevertheless here I am. I am so grateful that my passion for the game hasn’t dwindled a bit – in fact it’s probably grown stronger! Thanks to everybody that has visited, I really do appreciate it from the bottom of my ‘pigskin loving’ heart!! Check out my first post dated April 12, 2007:
Welcome to my blog about professional football and the women who love it…ESPECIALLY ME. I truly missed my calling in life as a sideline reporter – Pam Oliver, I’m so envious. I love everything about football. The game, the coaching, the fans and the men that understand what it takes to play the game. *wink* I don’t know what will come of this, but I thought fusing my 2 loves, football and talking about football was a natural collision. Please feel free to contribute with comments, critiques or constructive compliments. All are appreciated.
As I begin this journey, my emotions are running high. My concept for this page is too keep you updated on what I feel is the news of the day. The weekly schedule, commentary on the “game of the week”, my choice of course and the NFL Hottie of the week. Remember this is a woman’s blog, keeping it sexy yet smart is a must.
If you’re a woman that loves the game please come by and share with me your thoughts. We can start a revolution!
