I’ve held off on blogging about this very sad situation until all the evidence was in and conclusive. Simply put:
This is the face of a killer…Sahel Kazemi.
Here’s the smiling face of a cheater….Steve McNair
What you don’t see are the faces of his 4 children. They are the innocent victims. His wife was well aware of his cheating ways & she stayed for reasons we can only assume. So no, I don’t have sympathy for her.

Dag, this post was harsh. It’s a sad situation all around. No sin is greater than another but I will say, when you break the covenant of marriage NOTHING ever good comes from it but I don’t think the man deserved to die. Like I always say, be careful of who you bring around you and especially of who you get into relationships with.

Well dang Sissy! Tell us how you REALLY feel. LOL! *smooches* Well, I have no sympathy for her either, but I totally agree that now his children will have to endure the mixed messages about their father. About how their father was a GREAT Football player, but died such a tragic death due to his infidelity. Man! If as adults we would only THINK first! My wish is that the children left behind and the parents still grieving will be able to always remember the good in Steve McNair. And, that’s it for now

Very sad indeed. But Michelle has been knowing what’s up for years. Poor kids… All this for a piece of a$$!

Not everyone pays the ultimate price for infidelity, but unfortunately for Steve McNair, it happened to him. As you say, it’s the children who will suffer, for they will have to hear how their father, admired as a tough competitor on the football field and a good man off of it, suffered his fate this way.

I was not trying to come off harsh. The details of the case are out there..why elaborate on the fact that he shamed his name and his fame for a piece of ass? Those of us who follow these players off the field, was well aware of his cheating and so was his wife. In an attempt to keep the focus on whats important I omitted the above and placed empathy and focus where it was necessary…his children.

If I were his wife I’d bury him in a cardboard box and write, “ship to hell” on it with a Sharpie.

Ladies – NEVER DATE A MARRIED MAN…HE WILL NEVER LEAVE HIS WIFE.
Also – leave a damn married man alone. Stop coveting what you can’t have.
Hey Ms. Pigskin – Dwight Freeney is in the August 2009 issue of Essence’s bachelor issue. Thirsty for a wife! LMAO! He is FINE!

damn girl! That is harsh.
I feel sorry for the wife, whether she did or didn’t know- she still has to wipe the tears of her children. End of story.
Cheating is awful, horrible and it takes a certain type of person to do it (one lacking in ego). We all know this, yet it happens way too much.
Doesn’t call for the death sentence though. At least not here in these parts (isn’t it or wasn’t it practiced in some religions- stoning to death).

I don’t think it’s harsh at all. Mechelle knew what kind of man she had. Most athletes are cheaters, it is their choice to stay around and deal with the backlash, i.e. infidelity, children out of wedlock, or even murder because of a jealous lover.
The kids need the sympathy. They can’t make a choice of who their daddy is. But I understand PLL’s POV

I don’t think your post was harsh I think it was ignorant! I feel sorry for any mother that lost her husband and is now a single mother trying raise boys to men. He cheated so he is in the wrong we always find a reason to blame the woman. I pray that McNair RIP even though he was a cheater and I pray for his family to cope.

London what was ignorant about my post? I stated facts. Furthermore, I didn’t blame anyone, I simply said that I DO NOT HAVE sympathy for his wife. She lost her husband years ago when she kept allowing him to cheat on her… Yes, she’s sad but more than anything embarrassed and probably relieved. I choose to focus on the kids. They didn’t ask to be here or to be apart of this mess. But thanks for stopping by and commenting. Its very much appreciated.
