Never mind that he coaches the NY Jets, my division rivals, but I love a coach who’s fiery and forthright. Ryan has been playing into the media hands when answering questions regarding the New England Patriots. Saying that if opponents need bulletin board material from him as motivation to beat them, “we’ll probably kick your (butt).”
Coach Belichick is known for having his assistants post quotes and then using them as motivation for his players.
“When I said that about Belichick (“I’m not here to kiss his rings.”), I’m just letting him know I’m not intimidated by him,” said Ryan at his noon press conference. “He has the same position as I have. We’re both head coaches in this league. He just happens to have a helluva lot of Super Bowl rings and I don’t have a win. I understand that.
“But again, we’re not going to tiptoe our way through this thing. You don’t line up and beat a Bill Belichick-coached team by tiptoeing in there. We’re just going to be ourselves. I’m going to be myself. That’s just the way it is.
I totally agree!! You respect a man’s accomplishments, not fear them. Challenge your team Rex…I ♥ that in you!

I love Rex, I’ve met him personally when he was here in Baltimore and had the chance to talk to him. He’s a nice guy who loves the game. I really want him to do well in NY. But I really want him to STFU now. He said this once already, now it’s time to allow the players to back up the talking

Gotta admit, Rex Ryan is off the chain, and wish he was Jacksonville’s coach. Lets see how this thang goes for the Jets.
