I can hardly believe that we’re in week 8 of the NFL. Where did the time go? As each team either progress or regress…I’m titling the games, “Separation Sunday.” It’s time to make that run towards the playoffs! Check out my picks and let me know if you agree.
HOU @ BUF =>This is going to be a tough game for my team. The Texans are rolling, but not so much that I’ll pick them over the Bills at home. Fitzpatrick keeps the offense in the red zone and Edwards on the bench.
STL @ DET =>I should pay more attention to this game but I can’t. The Rams finally get a win.
SF @ IND =>Why aren’t people talking about the Colts? They are undefeated and will remain.
CLE @ CHI =>The Bears and Browns are both fighting for some dignity and identity. Jay Cutler gets it done, but I can’t help but wonder if the fans miss Kyle Orton? lol
JAC @ TEN => Vince Young is finally getting the opportunity to start and that’s the only reason I’m picking TN.
OAK @ SD =>*taps mic* Will the San Diego Charges please man up! It wasn’t too long ago that you guys were picked to play in the Super Bowl. SMH..use the Raiders to get back on track.
CAR @ ARI =>*yawn* Arizona
The NFL Chick and I vlog about the hottest games of the week. Check us out. FYI – don’t ever take pain medication before shooting a video, lol

Buffalo Bill WR James Hardy was in ATL celebrating Toya’s birthday this past weekend. This is a cute picture of them…whispering sweet nothings I’m guessing. I hope James is ready. He returns to the field this week against the Texans.
RB Reggie Bush hosted a party down in New Orleans where I hear everybody had a grand time. Nope, Kim wasn’t there…you can tell by his smile. lol
NY Jet Braylon Edward was spotted on the red carpet at the 2009 GQ Gentlemen’s Ball. Focus on the lashes for a minute….right!! I never noticed before either!! They are long, awwww

It was previous reported that Orlando Thomas, a safety for the Minnesota Vikings had passed away. He’s been battling amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), or Lou Gehrig’s Disease for five years.
“It’s not true,” Bartelstein said. “He’s still fighitng as hard as ever. I don’t know anybody to fight a disease or illness the way he has fought this. He’s continuing to fight the fight and is cheering on the Vikings every day.”
The Vikings reported his death on their website earlier. Let’s continue to keep Orlando and his family in our prayers.
