I can name two players that are the greatest in my book, Joe Montana and Lawrence Taylor. Let’s discuss LT.

Taylor was drafted by the Giants and was named NFL Rookie of the Year for that season. He produced double-digit sacks seasons consecutively from the 1986 through 1990 seasons. Taylor won the 1986 NFL Most Valuable Player. He helped led the Giants to Super Bowl XXI and XXV victories. Taylor retired in 1993 with a career total of 132 1/2 sacks.

He’s the best LB ever. He changed the game…and offensive coordinators had to plan to Stop #56! He was free to roam. Bill Parcells loves him as did NYC.

The stage was set and LT fit the bill. The perfect player, for the right city. Its hard to argue that this was a match made in football heaven.

Darnell Dockett signed a four-year, $48 million extension Wednesday with the Arizona Cardinals. The 29-year-old defensive tackle will remain with the team through 2015.

“I do want to retire an Arizona Cardinal,” Dockett told the Arizona Republic. “I believe in this organization. I believe in the people we’ve got around us, that we’re going to win a lot more titles and that we’re going in the right direction. Y’all going to see me around longer than y’all probably thought.”

The extension is worth up to $48 million with $30 million guaranteed, according to the Associated Press.

Good lawd! Rich, healthy and he’s single. Y’all are welcome.

Reality chicks and NFL’ers are the new cocktail…Chicago Bears QB Jay Cutler wants to get into the mix and focused his attention on The Hills and Laguna Beach resident bitch, Kristin Cavallari.  E Online reports:

According to a Chi-town source, the footballer, 27, has had a longstanding crush on K. Cav, 23, and arranged a meeting with the reality star after his pre-season game against the Arizona Cardinals Saturday (her ex’s Matt Leinart’s team!).

“They really hit it off,” the source tells E! News. “He’s crazy about her and she thinks he’s cute.”

We hear Jay even met Kristin’s mom during the post-game meet and greet—the reality star was in town visiting her fam over the weekend.

Let’s just get used it….athletes are drama kings and covet attention. How else do you explain him kissing Natalie Nunn? First off, she’s a proclaimed “gold digger”…*pumps my brakes* you know what, nope, not going there. If Vernon LIKES it, I LOVE it. I will continue to roll the dice and bet on love.
