Baltimore RB Ray Rice or “Baby Ray” drove down I-95 to kick in DC for the weekend. On Friday night the NFL baller partied at Love Nightclub. After the Ravens trampled the Lions 48-3 on Sunday, he was spotted at The Park at Fourteenth. For a minute I thought it was his birthday weekend, but that’s not until January 22. *shrugs*

That’s Marshall Bruce Mathers III AKA Eminem with the owner of the Dallas Cowboys, Jerry Jones. WTH could they possibly be conversing about? aha! Jessica Simpson!!! *side eye* Em hails from Detroit but who wants to route for the Lions? I’m joking, that stadium is bringing everybody to Dallas. I can’t wait to see it!

Remember the whole Tila Tequila vs. Shawn Merrimen saga? He was arrested for claims of having choked her as she tried to leave his house. The San Diego County District Attorney’s office didn’t charge either party due to a lack of evidence. Well now he’s suing her for copyright and trademark infringement. Merriman said that Tila used his trademark of his company “Lights Out” on her Web site without permission. The lawsuit claims that using the Lights Out trademark on Tequila’s Web site “is likely to confuse consumers into believing there is an affiliation, connection, sponsorship or other form of relationship between defendant and plaintiff which in fact does not exist.”

Merriman is seeking an injunction, statutory damages of up to $2 million and other unspecified damages, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. Why oh why, didn’t he know she was crazy from the jump is beyond me.    Source

Candace Williams is seeking $50 million in punitive damages and $20 million in compensatory damages from Baltimore Raven, Terrell Suggs. She is claiming that he is father of her two children and assaulted her multiple times. Williams is also seeking a restraining order against Suggs, who she said knocked her down and poured bleach on her and their son. Williams alleges Suggs broke her nose during a Nov. 3 incident and threatened to kill her. On Nov. 29, she said he threatened to drown her with bleach and poured bleach on her “entire body as she was forced to stay on the ground.” Suggs hasn’t been charged with a crime, and there’s no record of emergency calls to his Windsor Mill home.

“I can’t talk about all that right now,” Suggs said at the Ravens’ training complex. “You know I’ve always been fair. When I can address it, I will. I really have nothing to hide. As bad as I want to talk about it right now, I can’t.”     Source

Good news for Detroit Lion receiver Dennis Northcutt. The lawsuit claiming that Northcutt arranged for his cousin to hit Henry in the face and disfigure her at the Falcon Club in Hollywood on May 17, 2008, while she was four months pregnant was dropped.

Sharri Henry filed papers in Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday asking that the lawsuit against Northcutt be dismissed. The papers did not reveal reasons why.  She later gave birth to a boy. Northcutt has always denied any wrongdoing. I wonder if the baby is his? They didn’t mention that. hmmmm Source

Get ya mind out of the gutter!! It’s a carrot cake but doesn’t it look like him?!?! LoL I spotted this edible creation of Ray Lewis over at Draft Day Suit. The cake was created by Kendall and I must say she did an excellent job, especially on the lips.

Mm mm mm y’all know how I feel about Ray Ray. Ordering and devouring one of these cakes might be the closest I’ll ever get to him. I’m not a fan of carrot cake, but this would taste delightful in chocolate and vanilla. Yum!

The Fundraiser is to benefit the Sisters Empowerment Foundation (SEF) as well as The Sintia Mesa Foundation.

Sisters Empowerment Foundation’s mission is to raise self-esteem and reduce the number of girls and women, in the District of Columbia and Maryland infected with the HIV and AIDS virus.

The Sintia Mesa Foundation promotes higher education and raises awareness and supports the prevention of violence against women. Funds raised by SMF go to the Sintia Mesa Annual Scholarship Fund.
