Although the safety for the NY Jets, wouldn’t grant me a video interview, my admiration for him didn’t diminish. I’ll get ‘em next time. But contrary to his image, he’s a sweet, ole country boy and I appreciate him speaking with me.
Its “First & Then: Football from a woman’s point of view.” First we talk football, team and personal performances, etc. Then we take the bird’s eye view into the entertaining lives of one the hottest NFL’ers off the field.
1. What gets a #1 defense fired up?Well I think it’s the thought of us being #1. Whenever you see a goal that’s attainable, it makes u work a lil’ extra knowing that its right in front of you!
2. The defense handled Peyton Manning in the 1st half of the AFC Championship, what happen? He happened, lol! He’s a great player but he is even smarter. Once he figured out what we were doing in the 2nd half he torched us, but we gave it our best.
3. After being benched during the middle of the season, what did you adjust to improve your game?Well it wasn’t a benching lol (My bad, Kerry) I was demoted for 1 game and that game I got 2 interceptions! I just think it made me refocus. It also let me know that no one is immune to scrutiny or having to adjust what they have done in the past to get better. And I took it and moved on and elevated my play!
4. Who do you think would be a good offseason addition to the Jets?At this time of the year you just try to improve your team in any way you can and for us we have a great team coming back. With that being said if there is anyway you can bolster your line up with a guy like Julius Peppers, hey you do that lol!
5. You’ve played against the elite QBs this season: Brady, Brees, Manning and Rivers, rank them. They are all good players and I hate ranking players because it can change game to game but right now I’ll say; Manning, Brady, Brees, and Rivers.

I had the opportunity to sit down with Eagles WR DeSean “Action” Jackson while down in South Florida this week. Fresh off his workout at the Gatorade Performance Lab, the explosive wide receiver answered questions regarding the rumors of McNabb leaving Philly, Vick’s presence in the locker room, as well as the loses to the Dallas Cowboys. He also skated around picking a winner for Super Bowl XLIV, but aren’t we all!!

“You know who I want, you know who I want”!! [5:12 mark] Unfortunately, he’s referring to the Minnesota Vikings and not me! *sad face* After the Saints defeated the Cardinals, Darren Sharper talks to the NFL GameDay crew about the game. The Pro Bowl FS played with the Vikings for three years before signing with the Saints and revenge, should they win, would be sweet.
Sharper and the New Orleans Saints will face the Minnesota Vikings for the NFC Championship on next Sunday and this game has me chopping at the bits. The Vikings’ offense is overflowing with weapons with WRs: Rice, Berrian, Harvin, and RB Adrian Peterson, the Saints’ defense will have their hands full. But Sharper was a teammate of Brett Favre in Green Bay and understands an INT is just a catch a way.

Kendra Wilkinson Baskett gave birth to Hank IV on Dec, 11. “I was just in heaven,” the star of E!’sKendra tells OK!. Echoes Hank, “It was awesome.” He’s adorable!! Look at his hair…all spiked and what not! lol
Kendra didn’t waste any time granting OK! Magazine an interview. It’ll all took place at the hospital. I wonder how much they paid her for that exclusive? hmm…
Congratulations! How are you feeling?
Kendra: Thanks. I have labor brain. I forgot everything that happened!
Hank: I am in straight awe, trust me.
How did you prepare for coming to the hospital?
Kendra: The good thing about being induced is that it’s like planning a trip, just very calm. We ate a huge dinner before we came to the hospital. I ate a whole batch of brownies because I was nervous. No wonder he’s 9 pounds!
What happened at the hospital?
Kendra: I was induced early in the morning; then it was wait, wait, wait. I was experiencing contractions throughout the day, and I was anxious. I kept checking the monitor every second, like “Is it happening yet?”
