Members of the Saints organization participated in a time honored tradition, the  ”39th Annual “Greasing of the Poles.”  The Royal Sonesta Hotel originated the tradition of greasing the support poles as a means to deter over-zealous revelers from shimmying up to much-sought-after balcony space above Bourbon Street. Do you think it stopped them?
