“You know who I want, you know who I want”!! [5:12 mark] Unfortunately, he’s referring to the Minnesota Vikings and not me! *sad face* After the Saints defeated the Cardinals, Darren Sharper talks to the NFL GameDay crew about the game. The Pro Bowl FS played with the Vikings for three years before signing with the Saints and revenge, should they win, would be sweet.
Sharper and the New Orleans Saints will face the Minnesota Vikings for the NFC Championship on next Sunday and this game has me chopping at the bits. The Vikings’ offense is overflowing with weapons with WRs: Rice, Berrian, Harvin, and RB Adrian Peterson, the Saints’ defense will have their hands full. But Sharper was a teammate of Brett Favre in Green Bay and understands an INT is just a catch a way.

The one-hour special aired last night and highlights some of the year’s most prominent names in entertainment, sports, politics and pop culture. Barbara Walters is respected and admired in the media, so when you tickle her fancy, you’re doing all the right stuff.
Brett made headlines with his on/off again retirement plan, but since signing with the Vikings, his play on the field deserves an honorable mention.
On October 5, with a 30–23 victory over his former team the Green Bay Packers, Favre became the first quarterback in NFL history to defeat every one of the league’s 32 franchises since the NFL first expanded to 32 franchises in 2002.
With week five’s win against the St. Louis Rams, Favre started the 2009 season 5–0, which was a personal best in his career.
On November 1, Favre returned to Green Bay and completed 17 of 28 passes for 244 yards. His four touchdown passes in this game tied Dan Marino’s record of 21 four-touchdown games. He broke that record on Nov. 22, throwing four touchdowns in the 35–9 victory over the Seattle Seahawks.
On November 29, Favre played in his 282nd consecutive regular-season game, tying Jim Marshall‘s record for most consecutive games played by a position player. He also made it to his 500th career touchdown.
The Vikings are in position to make the playoffs and some are even predicting the Super Bowl. I’m not convinced just yet but hey, anything is possible.

LT Bryant McKinnie of the Minnesota Vikings traveled to Miami during his bye week for a photo shoot with BlackVibes.com Wasn’t that special!! I always like to remind my readers that you never know what’s under those helmets.
Bryant stands at 6 ft. 8 inches, weighing 335 lbs., but I’ve heard he’s such a sweetheart. Don’t get intimidated by his stature…let’s appreciate it.
I won’t mention what he did on that boat, but…it involves a woman, on the bar and his tongue! Watch out na!

It was previous reported that Orlando Thomas, a safety for the Minnesota Vikings had passed away. He’s been battling amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), or Lou Gehrig’s Disease for five years.
“It’s not true,” Bartelstein said. “He’s still fighitng as hard as ever. I don’t know anybody to fight a disease or illness the way he has fought this. He’s continuing to fight the fight and is cheering on the Vikings every day.”
The Vikings reported his death on their website earlier. Let’s continue to keep Orlando and his family in our prayers.
