My how times flies when you’re having fun!! It’s hard to remember what happen last month but when I think about the past decade in regards to football, the New England Patriots immediately come to mind. Between 2001 and 2005, the Patriots became the second team in NFL history (after the Dallas Cowboys) to win three Super Bowls in four years (Super Bowl XXXVI, XXXVIII, and XXXIX), and the eighth to win consecutive Super Bowls.
The Patriots, however, were defeated by the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLII, after winning the first 18 games of their 2007 season. Under quarterback Tom Brady and head coach Bill Belichick, the Patriots have also compiled the longest regular season and playoff winning streak in NFL history, an 21-game streak in 2003-2004.
Even if you despise the Patriots you have to respect their accomplishments because even when they didn’t win, they were still favorites.
The most memorable football moment of 2009 for me is QB Steve McNair’s death. I still remember where I was upon receiving the news. I was setting up for my family’s reunion and a friend sent me a BBM. Time stood still. After hearing how he died, I was angry and to some degree, I’m still upset. It wasn’t suppose to happen like that?!!
It’s week 17 of the 09 season and some great games have been played, records have been broken and the playoffs are on the horizon, and I still think about Steve “Air” McNair every Sunday.
Please share with me your best or worst memory of 2009.

Ten days after his birth, baby Brady has a name…it’s Benjamin!! Mom, Gisele Bundchen made the announcement on her website.
“I want to thank you all with all my heart for the immense love I have received here on the website,” the supermodel writes. “I am living a very special moment in my life. Benjamin is a blessing and I could not be happier.”
Now if we can just see a photo of the bundle of joy….
Ex-NFL running back Lawrence Phillips has been sentenced to more than 31 years in prison for attacking his girlfriend and driving his car into three teens. Phillips, 34, was sentenced Friday in San Diego for assault and other crimes. Phillips twice choked his girlfriend in 2005 in San Diego, and later that year, he aimed his car and struck three teens after a pickup football game in Los Angeles.
Damn, 31 years is a long time!! Phillips told the judge he didn’t get a fair trail and he’ll appeal. Phillips was once one of the nation’s top college football players at Nebraska. The St. Louis Rams released him for insubordination in 1997. He also play for the Miami Dolphins and San Francisco 49ers. You can take the boy out the hood, but not the hood out the boy.

Actually there’s two, but first up is Mildred Harrison.
That’s Pittsburgh Steelers’ James Harrison mom. The 62-year- old woman was cited for misdemeanor assault and released by Akron police after the fight. The local VFW was hosting a party in honor of the Harrison family during the Steelers-Browns game Thursday night. Andre Taylor, the private club’s canteen manager, said more than 50 people, some members and others guests of members, were inside.

Wanda Knight (right) shows bruises and a black eye she says she suffered when she and and her friends were attacked.
Mildred Harrison is due in Akron Municipal Court on Dec. 17. She faces a maximum 6-month jail sentence, if convicted. Mrs. Harrison declined to comment when reached by telephone at her home this morning. Why is a 62-year-old woman fighting? As a mother, I bet you somebody talked about her son. Nothing ruffles a mother’s feathers worst than an individual effin with your kids. I just hope the accusers don’t try and sue. *side eye* James Harrison’s money don’t have ish to do with it!! Source
Robert Somanti was nabbed along with 13 others in a prostitution ring on Friday. Somanti was one of the johns who tried to cash in on sex with a prostitute, law enforcement officials said, off of Craigslist. I bet your saying, WTF is John Somanti? He’s one of the men behind Pat the Patriot’s costume!! BAHAHAHAHA
Due to a new law, indoor prostitution in the state is banned. Hill larry us!! Source

Their bundle of joy has arrived! Tom Brady announced the birth Wednesday, but did not reveal the boy’s name. He called it “a wonderful experience in my life.”
The child is Brady’s second. He also has a 2-year-old son, Jack, with actress Bridget Moynahan. Bundchen is a mother for the first time.
Baby boy’s arrival couldn’t have come at a better time. The Patriots have lost 2 consecutive games and the media is finally kicking them off the throne. I saw the game against Miami and I don’t care what anybody says. If New England makes the playoffs, not many will bet against them. Including me.
