Damien Woody and his wife, Nicole played host to a dinner in support of the Man Up Campaign. It’s a collaboration of artists, athletes and activists committed to stopping violence against women and girls across the globe.
It is the first global initiative of its kind to mobilize and strengthen the existing good work of young leaders to stop violence against women. The mission says Briggs, “is to dare youth to change history…to make the world safe for women and girls.” This is AWESOME!

Jets teammates came out to support: D’Brickashaw Ferguson, Mark Sanchez, and Bart Scott. I’m guessing Bart didn’t get the memo that it was a formal affair. ;-(

The Tribeca Film Festival went down this past weekend and some NFL ballers decided to put the ball down long enough and get with the arts. Director Spike Lee directed the documentary that follows NBA phenom, Kobe Bryant. In the spring of 2008, with the Lakers set to face off against the San Antonio Spurs in a late-season game with major playoff implications, the documentary shows what it’s like for a top athlete like Kobe to go to work. From his arrival at Staples Center, through team meetings and pregame warm-ups, during the game itself, and at the end of his day as he, his wife, and his kids get in the car to drive home.
“Kobe Doin’ Work” debuts on ESPN on May 17.

New York Giant LB Antonio Pierce and his wife Jocelyn. I guess she decided to stand by her man. Are you surprised?

Houston Texan Mario Williams, Cincinnati Bengal Chad Johnson Ocho Cinco, NY Giant Justin Tuck, and director Spike Lee.
