Scotland is a country very based in tradition. You can see it in the way the Scottish people dress and hear it in their music. The same goes for their national past time: the Highland Games. The Highland Games are series of strength events that require great strength and solidified technique. Some of the events, like the caber toss, take years of practice before they can be mastered.
The events in the Highland Games take years to master, and Dhani has to get prepared in a few short days. He definitely has his share of work ahead of him, but he will give 110% just like it is any other challenge.
LoL My first thought after viewing the clip, “Dhani’s crazy.” Watch tonight to see if he threw the caper, correctly. 11 EDT on the Travel Channel.

Dhani's hair? What had happen?
Monday’s all-new episode of Dhani Tackles the Globe finds Dhani in the Island nation of Jamaica trying his best to learn cricket. Jamaica is largely known as one of the world’s most popular warm weather vacation spots, but cricket is a sport that is widely not understood by Americans.
The english colonials brought cricket to Jamaica in the early 19th century, when it was a “gentleman’s game” meaning whites only. But soon after emancipation in 1838, cricket open to everyone. Soon a uniquely Jamaican version of the game evolved. It was much more aggressive, flamboyant, and athletic… it was dubbed “resistance cricket.”
The only way to really learn cricket and Jamaica is to experience the it first hand. Dhani gets a heavy dose of the culture by doing his best to learn everything like a true Jamaican: with a smile on his face.

The season finale of Dhani Tackles the Globe is coming up this Monday at 9 PM E/P and Dhani is going big with Sambo fighting in Russia. Sambo is known as the “art of self-defense without weapons” and it definitely proves to be a complex and challenging sport.
To prepare for his fight, Dhani endures grueling outdoor training, takes ballet lessons and visits a Russian military base. Mr. Jones takes a break from training to visit a traditional Russian Banya where he sweats in the sauna, gets flogged with Venik (a bunch of leafy branches) and cools off in the plunge pool.
See if Dhani has what it takes to become a truly inspired and coordinated Sambo fighter.

Okay, seriously, do you need another reason to watch?! Dhani is wearing a speedo for christ sake!! I’ve been an avid viewer of the show since it first aired but I think I’ll save this episode to the DVR for those lonely nights! whomp whomp!
This Monday, Dhani heads to Australia for surf life saving training and competition. In and out of the ocean, Dhani must prove his strength, endurance, agility and love of the surf to the Aussie locals and lifeguards. When he’s not training, Dhani swims with sharks, learns how to shuck oysters at the worlds second largest fish market and of course enjoys a couple of beers at the oldest pub in Sydney.
Tune into the Travel Channel at 9 PM E/P for the episode premiere. I’m personally sending Dhani a thank you note! More pictures for your pleasure after the break.
