Why on earth would these two get together? *cues Deion Sanders’ “Must be the Money” According to CBS’ website:
Jerry Jones and Dan Synder are two of the most recognizable names in NFL ownership — they’re also diametrically opposed when it comes to their team’s interests on the field. But they joined forces recently for a Papa John’s commercial.
The Cowboys visit the Redskins to kick off Sunday Night Football, Sept. 12. Since everybody is plugging their brand, this is the perfect time to mention that the GRIDIRON GALS TOUR WILL BE IN THE BUILDING!!

Gang Green earned another meaning during last night’s game against the Washington Redskin – SHADE…shade from a weeping willow tree. During the coin toss the Jets representatives were: QB Mark Brunell, DE Jason Taylor, and WR Laveranues Coles , all three were ‘Skins once before. Who’s shady idea was that? LOL I’ll just pin the prize on the coach since he’s in charge. Sexy Rexy is so messy and I LOVE it!!
The Redskins got the last laugh, final score 16 – 11.

Last Saturday, The NFL Chick and I went to the Ravens-Redskins preseason game. Of course, it’s just preseason, but we don’t pass up game tickets, regular season or not. She’s a Ravens fan, and wanted to head to FedEx Field to support her squad. It’s official: The Gridiron Gals Tour is underway. Not to be rivaled with Ed The Sports Fan’s Shock The World Tour, our tour is exclusively football!
Head over to here to see the video and view the pictures.

What’s really going on in Washington, DC?
…and in the other corner, Mike Shanahan. I’m having flashbacks of Hagler vs Leonard, all we need is Don King standing on a podium hollering, “ONLY IN AMERICA”!!
I along with countless other, were wondering why he didn’t play until the 3rd quarter, aha, he had a headache. Before I could finish this post, I received a text message from ESPN. Haynesworth has been diagnosed with rhabdomyolysis (breakdown of muscle fibers). That’s what he meant by “more to it” than an headache. Treatment is with intravenous fluids, and dialysis or hemofiltration if necessary.
SMH, he sacked the QB last night and seemed perfectly fine, so this is some bullish. As a resident of the DC area, it pains me that THIS is the leading sports story. I can’t wait for the fight to end by either a decision or knockout. The $100M purse has already been paid. Let that man play football, already. Sheesh
